Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is a specialised branch of surgery dedicated to the restoration of function and correction of deformities resulting from birth defects, cancer and trauma including burns.
Cosmetic or Aesthetic Surgery is an integral part of the specialty. It allows surgical correction of disproportion and rejuvenation of the effects of ageing.
